Does anyone bill video EEGs? We have an extremely small practice and were trying to rent a bee-hive to send the patient home with a video-EEG monitoring, but the code 95951 states that this must be an "attended" study. If the patient is monitored by a neurologist 24/7 via the video (which will be automatically uploaded to our online database as the study is carried out), does this consist as being "attended"? Or would we need to obtain a facility and keep a nurse/tech/doctor present at all times?
