In the following report our outside coder coded Z3A.39 but the report doesn't say 39 weeks gestation. So. is the biophysical profile always done when the mother is in the last trimester and always at week 39? Is that how the coder came up with this diagnosis other than O76 for indistinct fetal heart tones.

The definition states: term or near term fetus. It does not state that it is only done at 39 wks. Was the lmp in the notes? Not sure how else they would have come up with the gestational wks.
