If the bladder ultrasound is off site, do you bill for the interpretation only? Thanks cc
 
Yes, if it is not your equipment. If you dont own the machine you can only bill the professional component of the exam. To show this you add modifier 26 when billing and whoever owns the machine will bill the same code but with a TC modifier to show the technical component.
