Can you use code Z01.31 - encounter for examination of blood pressure with abnormal findings when a patient has already been diagnosed with hypertension ? or does it have to be a new abnormal finding to be used .

What was the reason for the encounter? If it's a scheduled blood pressure check because the patient has Hypertension I'd bill with I10.
