When Coding Infusion Administration for Inpatient do I need to 'Back Out' or Code 'Around' Blood Transfusions? Does it matter if Blood Transfusion is running the same time as Therapeutic Infusions?
I know I bill Blood Transfusion separately 36430, but if I have 24-hrs of Hydration and/or Therapeutic Drug Infusing can I bill for the whole infusion or bill/code all but when the Blood Transfusion is running?
