I am in need of help,
I have received a few denials in the last couple of weeks on my injury coding. I will give you an example.

DX 1. s93.601A 2. Y93.66, 3. Y92.322

CPT. 1.99214, 2.73630-LT 3.73630-RT

Blue cross is denying claim due to dx coding incorrect. Its driving me crazy!!

I would appreciate the feedback! Thanks
 
You also left out an important piece of information. That is the how did it happen, such as a running into another person while playing sports or fall or tripped.
When coding injuries be sure you have answered all the possible questions
What happened—injury code
How did it happen — accident code
Where did it happen—place code
What was he doing — activity code
