I have that the BMI codes go from ages 2-20 yrs of age for Pediatric and 21 yrs and older for adult but I have been getting some claims denied. Are these still the correct age ranges or did it change. I did some research but I could not come up with anything. Thank you for your help!

Several payers want you to use the pediatric BMI for patients up to 22 years of age.

Do you also have an obesity code when you use the BMI code? The pediatric codes go thru age 19,.. age 20 and up are the adult codes, According to the code book
