In the coding book, under BMI there is a note that says BMI adult codes are used for persons 21 and over and pediatric codes are used for persons 2-20 years of age but then beside the actual code it states that A=Adult age 18-124 and P=0-17 so I am confused on which age you are supposed to use. Anyone have any information. Thanks!
