Hi Everyone,

This is a new one for me, as my old providers were all board certified in their fields. My boss is tell me one of our dr's can't see or bill workers comp patients insurance because he is not board certified. I can't finding anything on the subject however.

I'm in florida by the way.

Thanks,

I would call the State of Florida Worker's Compensation board and make sure what the qualifications of a physician are under that state. It is an open-ended question as all states have different worker's compensation laws and who can and cannot see a worker's compensation patient.

Hope this helps ;)

Thanks, I gave them a call and got my answer. Looks like it's up to the insurer and not the wcomp dept in Florida.
