I wanted to make sure I was coding the units of Botox used and not used correctly with BCBS insurance. Haven't really done any and wanted to make sure I was reading all the guidelines correct for Botox injections.

A total of 31 sites were injected ( See below) .
Muscles injected / Botox units used:
Frontalis muscle: 20 units ( 5 u x2 on each side)
Corrugator muscles: 5 units each
Procerus muscle: 5 units
Temporalis muscles : 20 units divided in 4 inj of 5 units each, bilaterally
Suboccipitalis muscles : 15 units each ( divided in 3 different spots)
Splenius capitis muscles (Paracervical musces): 10 units each side ( divided in 2 inj each site)
Trapezius muscles: 15 units each one (divided in 3 different spots each one).

45 units discarded/wasted.
