Branches of Middle Cerebral Artery

Are the branches of the middle cerebral artery considered seperate and distinct vessels for the purposes of catheter placement and interventions (ie. thrombectomy)?

For example, if an MD catheterized the M1 segment, then moved through that to the M2 segment, and then backed up to catheterize the M3 segment, would all this work be encompassed in a 36217, or would it be a 36217 and a 36218?

Another example, if primary arterial thrombectomy is performed in the M1 and M2 segments to treat a continuous thrombus spanning both vessel segments, is all this work encompassed in 37184, or would it be a 37184 and a 37185?
