If expansion to a breast implant is done outside the 90 day global period, is it separately billable, or is it inclusive to the original surgery even though it is past 90 days? Thanks.

you can bill an office visit (e/m) after the 90 days as opposed to the post-op visit, but not for the fill

I'm sorry, are you speaking of tissue expander expansion rather than breast implant expansion? If this is related to tissue expanders we bill an E & M code per the advice given to us at an ASPS coding workshop (after 90 days). This seems to work best.
