My surgeon performed revision of gynecomastia reduced breast...does anyone know what code that would be? At first I was thinking 91380 but gynecomastia is not reconstructed breast...and most likely female only px...

**peri-areolar incision was made on the breast
**tissue was undermined at the level of pectoralis fascia as well as the in a subdermal plane
**irrigation with warm saline was performed
**deep breast tissue was sutured

Thanks in advance

Please see below CPT codes for mastectomy and ICD10 codes.

Based on your question the recommended code is 19305 or 19301-19302
but the document you have provided isnt complete.

ask your physician if he/she remove other parts or a complete section.

19301 Mastectomy, partial (e.g., lumpectomy, tylectomy, quadrantectomy, segmentectomy)
19302 Mastectomy, partial (e.g., lumpectomy, tylectomy, quadrantectomy, segmentectomy); with axillary lymphadenectomy
19303 Mastectomy, simple, complete
19304 Mastectomy, subcutaneous
19305 Mastectomy, radical, including pectoral muscles, axillary lymph nodes
19306 Mastectomy, radical, including pectoral muscles, axillary and internal mammary lymph nodes (urban type operation)
19307 Mastectomy, modified radical, including axillary lymph nodes, with or without pectoralis minor muscle, but excluding pectoralis major musc
