My breast surgeon does a breast biopsy (19120) on a patient. The diagnosis is atypical ductal hyperplasia. He wants to go back in and remove it. For the removal do I code an excision of the breast or a lumpectomy???

I work for a breast surgeon and with a dx of atypia, we code it as a lumpectomy, 19301.
