Good morning,
I was wondering if this dictation "Bronchoscopy was performed and there
was no evidence of any endoluminal lesions. There were no secretions.
The tube was also noted to be in excellent position." warrants the billing of 31622? It almost seems that this is for tube placement not really diagnostic.

Thank you.
Beth

I agree with 31622. I interpret this as, "bronchoscopy was done and in viewing the tube it had excellent position." Since he said, "the tube is noted to be in excellent position," the tube is already placed. I feel this procedure was diagnostic because it yielded results, "no evidence of any endoluminal lesions..."
