Hello, I am checking to see if there are any Rheumatology offices that have the patient's medications for infusions and high-end injections shipped from a Specialty pharmacy to their office? I am not in the clinic, but have been asked to obtain information. We seem to be losing money on Synvisc One. Any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I am in an oncology department and we get this from time to time. 1. White Bagging specialty pharmacy sends meds to us 2. Brown Bagging pharmacy send meds to pt to bring to us. Why are you losing revenue what exactly is the issue?

I don't understand how you can be losing money on Synvisc One if you have no drug expense involved to begin with? You should still be billing for the administration and recouping those costs, although you may need to submit a no charge line for the provided drug to be paid for the administration.
