We have procedure code 47100 and 44005 that were performed on the same day. We billed 44005 and 47100-59. We were paid for 47100-59 but 44005 was included in prime procedure. Any opinions on how this should be billed for reimbursement?

The op report states that while in doing the intestines they noticed nodules in the liver so they did a biopsy.:rolleyes:
