Can someone tell me if there is anything that would justify unbundling hip xray (73502) and a pelvis xray (72170), both taken in the same session, same diagnosis on both? Maybe I'm missing something?

Unless its separate session (for instance morning and afternoon) it shouldn't be unbundled.
