Wiki Bundling/Unbundling

I am having an issues with UHC claims bundling cpt 17004 and other destruction codes cpt 17270/17271. I have been told that it is an inappropriate coding combo. Billed 17004 with modifier 59. Has anyone else had that issue? If so how do unbundle?

Yes, they have about a "dozen" odd combinations they considered bundled that don't follow the regular NCCI coding edits, although they state they follow the CCI edits.

You have to track what these odd ones are and remember to code them properly.
