The provider lists diagnosis as : 1. Bunion 2. Hallux valgus. I'm confused. Are they not the same?

If they are in the same location- the great toe, they are the same. However, because a bunion can form in other areas of the foot (bunionette/Tailor's bunion), it is not always the same, so you may need to review the rest of the documentation or query the provider if it is still unclear.
