Hello,
So on our claim scrubber, we're seeing "medical necessity" errors for codes with the word "other" in the description. One of the examples is M70.51/52. This is what I've been using for pes bursitis and other types of bursitis in the knee that don't have their own code. Are those codes correct that I'm using for this diagnosis? We're just worried about getting a ton of denials. I just want to hear everyone's thoughts on this as well as suggestions if you have any.
