Busy 8 provider physiatry group seeks biller/coder for the following responsibilities:
Charge entry - Entering offsite care episodes and workers compensation related charges
Charge review - Review and process physician entered charges for inpatient, outpatient and procedural encounters.
Payment posting - Post incoming private and insurance payments according to the Explanation of Payment. Assist with follow-up on denied claims and claims appeals.
Patient accounts - Review patient accounts for timely payment. Followup on delinquent accounts according to established policy and procedure.
