Doctor A is doing a c/s and requested Doctor B to do the tubal at time of delivery.

Any suggestions on th CPT and modifiers?

these providers are from different practices.

Modifier -62 is for 2 surgeons. CPT defines the modifer as "When 2 surgeons work together as primary surgeons perfoming distint parts of a procedure, each surgeon should reprot his/her distict operative work by adding modifier 62 to the procedure code..."

Doc A - 59510-62 (assuming global) and Doc B 58611-62.

58611 may not get paid with the 62 modifier. Typically this is billed sole practitioner, it will allow an 80 with appropriate documentation.
