Does anyone know how to code a cervical spine percutaneous Thallium laser discectomy? There are no incisions. The surgeon inserts a catheter percutaneously, does a discogram to locate the site, then threads in the laser to the location, and fires (zaps) the disc a couple of times. My encoder comes up with 22899, Unlisted spine procedure. Any ideas on how to code this?
