We have a provider who wants to start performing the Esophageal mucosal integrity testing using the MiVu, HCPCS C9777. I am just curious if anyone has ever billed out with this before? I was trying to find payer policies if they cover this procedure and I came across one for Cigna where they find it experimental/investigational. We have to invest in this equipment and it is pretty expensive, so if you could give any experience you have had or tips on how to find more payer policies for C9777.
