I am hoping someone can help me. We are dispensing a total of 1000 mg's of fentanyl via a pump for a patient. The J code is J3010. The quantity for the J code is per .1mcg's. What quantity should I be billing for this? The invoice also shows 25000 mcg/ml. We have thought 10,000, 2500, 25,000. The fees end up being enourmous except if we use 2500. I'd like if someone could refer me to a place where I could verify this. Thank you!:confused:

Normally I would see it as 1000mcg not 1000mg at our facility. The strenght most used is 2000mcg per 100mL and that would yield 2 J3010
