Anyone clear about this? So much conflicting info out there for 2D and Doppler ultrasound. I work in a cardiovascular center, if that matters.
 
I wish I could help - this is not an area I'm familiar with.

I don't see an NCCI edit between the 2 codes, but I'm not sure whether there are any additional guidelines/payer policies that would be applicable.

Hopefully someone with knowledge on the subject matter will see and offer some input.

I really appreciate the reply. It came back denied, so I am trying to figure our what I am missing.
