Hello,
Would someone be able to help me with this unusual question? If in a private practice setting a PTA needs to see a patient but there isn't a PT available to supervise can an OT fill in and supervise the PTA?
 
You would need to contact your state’s occupational or physical therapy licensing board to get the answer to this. My guess is that the answer would be no since OT and PT are two different specialties with different licensing requirements.
