A patient comes to our walk in dept. Dr decides that patient needs a ct scan, so a iv line needs to be inserted in patients arm. patient goes to radiology to have scan done and comes back to Walkin to finish visit. In normal circumstances, radiology would put the needle in themselves, but for whatever reason, it is set up so our walk in dept does this for them.

Can walk in bill 36000 for inserting this or are we out of luck since normally rad dept would do this as part of CT?
