Indication for Colonoscopy: Family History of colon cancer. That is all that is given. Is there a rule somewhere that says it cannot be used as primary? Thank you!

Wiki Can V16.0 be a primary dx?

if you look at the guidelines for coding and reporting of ICD-9 Cm you will see that V16.0 is allowed either first or secondary.
