Patient has FEP BCBS of Virginia primary and Anthem HealthKeepers Medicaid secondary. Missed a behavioral health visit with therapist. Can we charge a no show fee because they have a commercial insurance primary or are all patients with Medicaid period off limits?

If the patient signs a document stating no show fees will be billed (usually has to be updated every year) then you should be able to bill the patient disregarding the insurance type because the patient agreed and signed a document
