We have a shared call arrangement on weekends with another OB/GYN clinic in town. One is the primary call on Saturday and the other on Sunday. If they deliver one of our patients on their primary day we bill the global code with modifier Q6 under our call doctor for that weekend. Then they are reimbursed for the service at the end of the month. Recently, they (Dr. A) delivered our patient by C section as the primary surgeon so we'd usually bill 59510,Q6 under Dr. B's NPI (our doctor). In this case, Dr. B ended up assisting with the C/S. Can we bill both 59510,Q6 & 59514,80 under Dr. B's NPI?
Thanks in advance.

So in this case since Dr. B was able to come in for the assist, how would we bill that? 59426 & 59515,80 for our doctor and they would bill 59514 for theirs? She's seeing us for her postpartum care.

Can you clarify the 60-day requirement for me, please? Is each weekend considered a separate period? It's a long term arrangement but each weekend is a different provider from each clinic. Our doctors are each getting a call weekend every 4-6 weeks.
