I have a question and I am unsure about billing. Pt. Delivered in triage by EMS while provider was delivering another baby. Pt. Taken to OR for adherent placenta which was delivered by the provider. What would be the best way to bill this. Global with mod 52, or split? Thank you in advance.

It depends on whether the person who delivered her is billing. If not, I would go with global and modifier -52.
