Hello
Can anyone help that what could be possible dx icd 10 codes for Basal Cell carcinoma, right temple and Squamous cell carcinoma, left hand and what is the difference bw basal and squamous cell thanks a lot

you should use the neoplasm table in your code book to look these up, these are very simple codes to find. go to the neoplasm table in the alpha section of your book. look under skin and then go to the specific location, for temple use other parts of face. Basal cell and Squamous cell are just two different types of neoplasm. The determination of the type is based on microscopic analysis by a pathologist.
