Hi,
I have a surgeon who laparoscopically removed part of the roux limb (small intestine confirmed in path report), for candy cane syndrome. Would it be appropriate to code as 44238, since part of the jejunum roux limb was excised? And equate it to the open code for revision GJ anastamosis 43860?
Thanks!
