I'm needing to get more specific information on the rules for anesthesia and pain management coding. I'm not interested right now in obtaining the CANPC Certification as I'm still new to the coding world. Does this study guide give in-depth instructions for anesthesia coding or is there another publication I should look at obtaining?

Has anyone used the Anesthesia Services Coding and Payment Guide through Optum? Is it the same as the CANPC Study Guide?
