Cardiology billing

Best answers
I work for Neurosurgeons, and we will be bringing in a cardiologist onboard. He will be assisting the Neurosurgeons in the spine surgeries, but with the approaches only. How do I bill for the Cardiologist services? He will be working under our group NPI and Tx ID.

Will he be considered an assistant or Do i bill his codes with a modifier?
