Hi Anybody & Everybody,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a billing question? We were billing CPT Codes 93307, 93320, and 93325. We have been told by another office that we can now only bill CPT code 93306 is that correct? We are going to be losing got a bit of money I wanted to know if we could still bill the 3 codes or use a modifier or just use code 93306.

Thanks,
Helene

The code did change for 2009 and the 93306 is the correct code to bill. If you do it at the hospital append a 26 modifer. It is a big loss of money per echo but I am sure that is probably why they did it. Shelly
