Hi all,

Can someone give me clear idea of how the CPO codes were used, iam not understanding the codes G0179-G0182 and the codes in Evaluation and management chapter under home health services and hospice services.

Are these both different from each other or same?

Who is going to use them ?
 
G0179-G0182 Are used by the physician to bill for the certification and plan for the patient's home health agency. Usually this is just paperwork filled out and reviewing the patients progress and needs.
The E/m codes for home health/hospice are for face-to-face visits at the home usually used by home health providers, not PCP or specialists.
