I wanted to ask about coding for Carotid Stenosis s/p stent. I believe the stenting took place in 2019. I am coding the condition as I65.22, because the provider documented that it is on the left side, would I also need an additional code for the presence of stent? I don't see an instructional note in the code book I'm using that instructs this. If so, would it be?
