Wiki casting below knee amputation after 8 months post op

This patient is a diabetic and had a below the knee amputation 8 months ago. He has had an ulcer develop on his stump. We place him in a cast on his stump. What code do I use for the cast? Would you use the casting codes e.g. 29405 or use the L codes?

Also in reference matter would be great.
