I have just started to code cataract surgeries for GA and TN. I used to code these 3 years ago but only for Florida, so are there different guidelines in these states that I need to know about for Medicare and Healthspring-TN? I need a little bit of a refresher. Any help or resources to refer me to would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
 
I don't know anything about the specific carriers you ask about but coding is coding so there shouldn't be any difference between what you had been doing and what you need to do now unless the carriers have some strange LCD that may affect the coding.

Many times, if you Google the carrier, code and LCD for the code, you can get fairly precise information on what you may need to do differently for a carrier.
