Afternoon! I'm wondering if there would ever be in instance where a Cat B clinical trial device may get a Q1 modifier on a claim? If the investigation is to conduct head-to-head study of two approved Cat B devices to see which one is superior in a given circumstance, would those devices get a Q1 on a Medicare claim? Any thoughts? Thanks!
