Medicare has no global days on a heart cath. Can you have a cath ordered by fellow and then an admit to CVICU and bill an admit charge the same day? Michael
 
Yes

There is a complete H&P that substantiates HIGH billing about 3 hours after the cath was completed. Everything is good with the note.
