There's a CCI edit in place which shows that 33233 is included in 33234 or 33235. This makes sense and is reflected in the work RVUs for the respective codes.

However, there is also a CCI edit in place for 33241 includes 33244 which is the exact opposite of the pacemaker CCI edit and is not reflected in the work RVUs.

I feel this edit is incorrect. Can anyone explain this to me why these edits are exact opposites and what the logic behind the defibrillator edit is?
