Wiki CCM during Global from procedure

Our provider did a 17000 on 4/11, then CCM on 4/19. payer is denying with reason CO97. Is it appropriate to use modifier 24 on 99490?

I would say yes, report the 99490 with -24 if the CCM is not related to the 17000 on 4/11.

Thank you Sam, I originally thought that but wasn't sure if the CCM code was viewed as an E/M. I'll try it and see what happens.
