I am definitely going to sit for the CCS. I do outpatient surgery in hospital. I never want to work in a doctor's office (due to blurring of job lines) or do billing of any sort. I always want to do outpatient surgery, but may also expand into inpatient if needed or opportunity comes along. If I have my CCS, what other credential should I add that best fits my situation? CCS covers everything, but if I want to add a credential that also leans towards CPT coding, which credential is best that excludes billing or other duties. Coding only.
