Hello! Our surgeon did a CEA (35301) along with this he Measured and shortened the internal carotid artery and it was reimplanted at the carotid bulb with continuous sutures...etc

I can not find a code for this so believe this would be included in or a fee increase?

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!:p

I would consider 22 if he documented extended time and difficulty beyond the 'normal' procedure. Otherwise, if it is a procedure he will be doing often for where there could be potential FDA approval, then look to use unlisted with comp code.
