I just signed up for the exam besides the CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 book what is my next best reference to bring? I'm new to auditing. Thank you.

I'm not sure about Optional references but don't forget he E/M Audit worksheet of your choice and the 1995/97 DG's :

https://www.aapc.com/certification/specialty/cemc/#tab-2

Required References:
CPT® Books (AMA standard or professional edition ONLY). No other publisher is allowed.
Your choice of ICD-10-CM (Exams will test ICD-10 effective January 1, 2016).
Your choice of HCPCS Level II.

Highly Recommended References:
E/M Audit Worksheet of your choice
Both CMS DGs (1995 & 1997)

Optional References:
One reference of your choice

Thank you, any advice on the additional reference that would be helpful?

My additional reference was a medical dictionary, and I did use it a few times during the CEMC exam. There are numerous older threads with other suggestions here also.
