Can someone tell me how to find cerebral infart due to stenosis of vertebrsal artery and what the code would be...Thanks

433 Occlusion and stenosis of precerebral arteries

Codes starting 433 are the codes used for Vertebral, Carotid, and Basilar arteries. If it is just stenosis, use 433.20, but , with infarction use 433.21. Use 433.21 for vertebral artery infarction.
0 is without mention of cerebral infarction.
1 with cerebral infarction. See "Ingenix"
433.10 for Carotid, 433.00, Basilar for "without mention of cerebral infaction.
